Vishnu Yagna April 1-7, 2010

A powerful and beneficial Vishnu yagna has begun today, April 1st, and will continue each morning and afternoon for 7 days through April 7th. This yagna is occurring at the shivir (campsite) of the Sai Maa Vishnu Shakti Trust on the banks of the holy Ganges River in Haridwar, India. Jagadguru Her Holiness Sai Maa Lakshmi Devi is the “Yajman” of this yagna, meaning one who takes “Sankalpa” or resolution, in organizing and performing the yagna. Patron of this yagna is Jagadguru Vishnuswami Sampradayaacharya Shri Yamunacharyaji Maharaj Shri Satuwa Babaji (Maharaji). Fifteen Brahman pundits (priests) from Kashi, including the Acharya (chief pundit) from the Vishwanath Temple, are performing this yagna.
