H.H. Sai Maa visits Chhattisgarh State, India

Sai Maa made a car journey of many hours, from Kashi to Chhattisgarh, a State just east of Mumbai in India with Satuwa Baba, Sanjaybhai and Satish, from the Satuwa Baba Ashram.

On the evening of Saturday, March 1st, 2008 H.H. Sai Maa gave a discourse at a mini-Mela (spiritual gathering) there.   The discourse focused upon Love, Service and Humanity, and was of course very well received by everyone in attendance.  This was a small Mela which Sai Maa described as very loving, with much interaction among the participants.  When Sai Maa arrived She met with the Chief Minister of the Mela and then visited the entire Mela.  A grass shivir (abode) was provided to Sai Maa, as well as one to Satuwa Baba.  Sai Maa met with journalists, articles were published and a press conference was held just for Sai Maa.    Sai Maa mentioned that the Minister of Culture was very impressed by the "beautiful Guru, a bright white Light" and by the articles that were written about Sai Maa.  Sai Maa also described a new hat that was given to Sai Maa by Satuwa Baba in which Sai Maa looked like a "young Prince," about 15-20 years old. Sai Maa said that this was the best conference She has ever attended.

Sai Maa mentioned seeing for just a few seconds, the most ancient Vishnu She has ever seen in a temple there, dating from the 2nd or 3rd century, an honor for Sai Maa, who as Jagatguru is in the Vaishnava lineage.  Sai Maa wishes all of Her shisyas (students) to know that Satuwa Baba mentioned how exceptional they are, and everyone is invited to the Mela next year before Shivaratri.  In 2009 we will do seva there for a week and will sit on the big stage to chant bhajans with Sai Maa, who with others will deliver discourses.
