Daily Practice - Daily Sadhana
Her Holiness Sai Maa has stated on numerous occasions how important our daily sadhana (spiritual practice) is. It is the very basis for systematically bringing in, awakening to, and anchoring the Light of the I AM Presence in our life. It is also a process of purifying our mind, emotions, body and personality. For eons we have chosen limitation, fear and suffering. Daily sadhana is a disciplined and repetitive choice of alignment with love, freedom and that which is unlimited.
One size does not necessarily fit "all" in the area of sadhana. A particular practice may be better suited to one being and not another. Also, whatever sadhana is chosen should not be rigid and/or unconscious. That would only serve to reduce its effectiveness or to strengthen the mental body. It is for these reasons that H.H. Sai Maa has not created a specific set of practices that all beings would do for a specific period of time each day. She has, however, made some general recommendations that apply to most beings. They are as follows:
1. Set aside at least 20 minutes each day for sadhana
2. Practice at the same time and in the same place (if possible)
3. Wear the same meditation clothing each time (if possible)
4. Include some or all of the following practices:
