Meditation

Your practice may include pranayama, conscious breathing, chanting, silence, mantras, activating the I AM, using the Violet Flame, brain illumination, exercise, yoga, meditation, listening to Sai Maa’s CDs and DVDs or any of the other tools that are available to you.

Sai Maa recommends that you set aside at least 20 minutes each day for your Sadhana.

"Through sadhana one easily experiences the master that she/he is, as during these disciplines one masters her/his senses….Sadhana takes one to the invisible being, the great supreme being who lives within each of us, who guides us, and who is full of knowledge, wisdom, love, light, compassion, and tolerance.”
~ Sai Maa Lakshmi Devi

OM/AUM

OMs or A-U-Ms are the primordial sound, the first sound of creation. In chanting OM, we attune to the Universal Self that lives within all things while we resonate to the vibration of the universe itself.

Pranayama

Prana is defined as energy or vital life force. The practice of pranayama raises our vibration, allowing us to move into that state of Oneness.

Breathing Position

  1. Sit on the floor or in a chair with back straight (not leaning against chair back).
  2.  Eyes are closed and rolled up and in towards the center of the forehead.
  3. The tip of the tongue is touching the roof of the mouth.
  4.  Place hands on knees, palms up in chin mudra (lightly touch the index finger to the thumb while extending the other fingers straight out).
  5. Keep the body still, pulling the abdomen in as you breathe out.

Breathing

Breathe through the nose (close mouth and flair nostrils slightly to improve air flow).

Breathe through the teeth (tip of teeth lightly touching and showing).

Start slowly and progress to the point that you are breathing as hard and as fast as you can at the end. Give yourself rest time between each exercise and relax the body completely with eyes closed.

Daily Practice

There are many traditional mediation practices and techniques. Sai Maa has not created a specific set of practices for all to ascribe to. However, whatever sadhana is chosen, the important thing is to do it…and do it consciously, with awareness.

“Beloved Ones, Put into practice what resonates in you as Truth”. ~ Sai Maa
