
Anant Shri Vibhushit Jagatguru Bhaktimayi Meera Bai Sarvanandamayi Lakshmi Devi Sai Maa

Her Holiness Sai Maa Lakshmi Devi has become the first woman ever bestowed the title of Jagatguru Bhaktimayi Meera Bai in the five thousand year history of the Vaishnav Saint Society on January 22, 2007 at the Ardh Kumbha Mela in Prayag, India. “Jagatguru” is the highest title that can be received, and it means Master of the Universe. “Bhaktimayi” is one who is totally in devotion. “Meera” was a Queen in Mewar, “Bai” means sister or mother.

This name was given to Sai Maa by Gurunathan in His Kerala Ashram. Hamsa is a swan and represents perfect union, balance and life.
"Nithyananda Mayi Maa" (2004)
This name was given to Sai Maa by Parama Pujya Paramacharya Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Tiruchi Mahaswamigal (Apaji) at Kailash Ashram in Bangalore. The name means "Mother of Absolute Bliss."
"Nasirumbi" (July 17, 2002)
In Uganda, Africa, Sai Maa and a group of students went to a church for the celebration of Mass and the arrival of Sai Maa. At first, many singers and dancers outfitted in purple and gold dress entertained. One even balanced a one-liter bottle on his head during the entire dance which was quite vigorous. Father Centurio gave the Mass and Sai Maa the sermon. Sai Maa spoke eloquently and precisely – Her determination, passion and absolute unwavering focus on Truth is ever present – a message of Love and Truth. Then a ceremony followed where Sai Maa was given a new name – Nasirumbi, meaning the season of brightest sunlight. (Journal entry of Sai Maa’s Assistant, Bradley Nixon)
"Sradha" (September 1998)
When Sai Maa traveled to Rishikesh, India in September 1998, She visited the Ved-Niketan Yoga Ashram. The local Guru was about 90 years, was very successful and taught yoga around the world. Sai Maa stayed there for a few nights, including Guru Purnima. During this time, the Guru took Sai Maa to his personal sadhana room, had Sai Maa sit on his own asana, a tiger skin, and gave Her a special initiation during which he gave Sai Maa the name "Sradha" (also the name of the Mother who was with Ramakrishna).
