October 2009

  • Property was purchased by the Sai Maa Vishnu Shakti Trust for Sai Maa’s Ashram in Kashi, India.

August 2009

  • HH Sai Maa initiated into the Waitaha Family with the Sacred Ceremonial of Whangai/Birthing into the family of the Waitaha.

April 2008

  • H.H. Satuwa Baba Maharaji added His name to the Sai Maa Centers, now making them Sai Maa and Satuwa Baba Centers.
  • Petales de Grace published in French.

February 2008

  • 20/20 program launched in Varanasi, India. This joint program with Vitamin Angels and Us Foundation brings Vitamin A to tens of thousands of children in Northern India to help save their eyesight.

November 2007

  • Sai Maa addresses the Satyagraha Centeary International Conference at the Jawaharal Nehru University, New Delhi, India.

June 2007

  • H.H. Sai Maa inaugurated the Sai Maa Center of Quebec, in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada.

March 2007

  • The Sai Maa Vishnu Shakti Trust, headquartered in Varanasi, India was created.

February 2007

  • A medical camp for de-worming and vitamins was held for children and families at Kandawara village near Nandi Hills.
  • H.H. Sai Maa, Omkar Das Shastri (Brahmachariji) and students attended a tuberculosis medical camp in Varanasi, India organized by Mr Anil Jain and SANKALP, at an orphanage sponsored by Kashi Seva Samiti. After discourses and the distribution of school kits, H.H. Sai Maa committed to provide medicines and vitamins to the children and to support the orphanage and a future home for the elderly.

January 2007

  • H.H. Sai Maa, H.H. Satuwa Baba and a large number of H.H. Sai Maa’s students from around the world attended the Kumbha Mela in Allahabad, India. Thousands of people were fed by H.H. Sai Maa during the month-long celebration and contributions were made to various spiritual communities. Hundreds of blankets were distributed to local families in Varanasi, India.

December 2006

  • 3,500 people were fed at the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple in Calicut, India. In Calicut, anti-parasite medicines and vitamins were distributed to 2,000 children and families and pensions were given to widows and the elderly. Medicines and vitamins were distributed to 5,000 children and families in Mumbai, India.

November 2006

  • H.H. Sai Maa Health Centre, Nandi Hills, India, in conjunction with Airline Ambassadors and Vitamin Angels, distributed anti-parasite medicine, vitamins, hygiene kits and educational materials to over 1,000 children and families. Pensions were distributed to the elderly and widows.
  • The first International Interfaith Congress on Religion and Modern Civilization was presented by H.H. Sai Maa in conjunction with the Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, November 4-6 in Varanasi, India. Over 1,000 delegates participated, 900 papers were presented and many eminent and influential scholars and religious leaders offered their ideas. A collection of the most important papers has been published in book titled Religion and Modern Civilization.
  • On November 25th the foundation stone was laid for the establishment of an orphanage and home for the elderly by HIU and the Sai Maa Foundation, on property purchased through donations by local residents in Calicut, India. H .H. Sai Maa joined Brahmasree Muralikrishna Swamiji for the inauguration of His Saravanabhava Madom Ashram.

September 2006

  • HIU International and HIU International Publications, headquartered in Paris France, were created. Her Holiness Sai Maa Lakshmi Devi, and Humanity In Unity

July 2006

  • H.H. Sai Maa Health Centre and the Indian Medical Association, organized the first of several medical camps in Nandi Hills to treat the many cases of Chikungunya. e camp s treated 800-1,000 patients with 6-8 volunteer doctors.

March and April 2006

  • In Bhutan, H.H. Sai Maa met with His Excellency Lyongo Jigni Sangey, the Honorable Minister for Health and Culture. Sai Maa also met Her Majesty, Queen Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuk, who is also the Chairperson of Tarayana Foundation, a humanitarian service for educational and technical programs. In addition, H.H. Sai Maa met with Sasho Bap Kesang, Honorable Secretary, Royal Civil Service Commission and Dasho Sangay Wangchuk, Director for Cultural Affairs.
  • In Thailand, H.H. Sai Maa spoke on “The Role of Business in the 21st Century” to the Asia Institute o f Technology.
  • H.H. Sai Maa had the great honor of meeting with “The Living Saint of Thailand,” the highly respected and revered Guru, Mae Chee Sansanee, at the Mae Chee Sansanee Sthirasuta Ashram. H.H. Sai Maa created a program to support the local nuns. H.H. Sai Maa was an honored guest speaker at the Annual Global Women’s Forum of the Euro American Women's Council, in Athens, Greece. The EAWC also honored H.H. Sai Maa by presenting Her with the prestigious "Artemis Award," given to individuals whose achievements have decidedly contributed to the growth and advancement of societies on a national and international scale.

February 2006

  • The Tri Shakti Temple was inaugurated during the MahaShivaratri celebration with His Holiness Sri Satuwa Baba, honoring Sri Rajarajeshwari, Radha Krishna and Lord Shiva. The Temple was constructed with the help of donations from H.H. Sai Maa and HIU at the Sri Satuwa Baba Ashram in Varanasi, India. H.H. Sai Maa donated the statue of Rajaraheshwari in honor of Swami Tiruchi Mahaswamigal (Apaji).

December 2005

  • H.H. Sai Maa spoke to 300,000 people in “Jai Hanuman Dharma Sanskar Sohla,” a global spiritual function held in Aurangabad, India.
  • H.H. Sai Maa participated in the World AIDS Day Event at Martin University, Indianapolis, Indiana. This program was presented by the Ebenezer Church Foundation’s “Bridging the Gap” Program, which provides HIV/AIDS testing, counseling and care coordination services to the African American community in Marion County, Indiana.

October 2005

  • In Rajkot, India, H.H. Sai Maa gave a discourse to women students at the Meenaben Kundalia Arts and Commerce College, inaugurated the children’s Navaratri Festival and donated bicycles, wheelchairs and funds to leprosy rehabilitation patients.
  • H.H. Sai Maa and Humanity In Unity endorsed the U.S. Department of Peace Initiatives.

September 2005

  • Humanity In Unity, in conjunction with Airline Ambassadors, donated over $17,000, which was leveraged to over $1 Million in relief to those affected by Hurricane Katrina.
  • H.H. Sai Maa and HIU distributed $20,000 to flood victims in Mumbai, India.

June 2005

  • H.H. Sai Maa met personally with The Honorable President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, to discuss humanitarian projects in India.
  • H.H. Sai Maa’s first book, Petals of Grace: Essential Teachings for Self-Mastery, was published and distributed worldwide.

During 2004, H.H. Sai Maa:

  • Participated as a Delegate to The Parliament of World Religions in Barcelona, Spain.
  • Attended the Synthesis Dialogues at the Pope’s summer residence in Rome, Italy, which was attended by the H.H. Dalai Lama, Ela
    Gandhi and other spiritual leaders.
  • Established an Ashram and residence in Crestone, Colorado, USA and a community center in Boulder, Colorado, USA.

In addition, on an ongoing basis H.H. Sai Maa:

  • Regularly organizes and performs Yagnas in the US and India for the well-being of the world.
  • Presents workshops and retreats with many of the leading spiritual leaders and thinkers of our time, including Barbara Marx Hubbard, Marianne Williamson, Rabbi Joseph Gelberman, Irving Feurst, Virginia Essene, Reverand Thomas Brown and Dr Pankaj Naram.
  • Regularly presents powerful, transformative, week-long deep meditation retreats.
