I AM Teaching Acknowledging and working with the I AM Presence is a central part of Sai Maa's teachings. It is very helpful to clearly understand this teaching so it can be used as a powerful part of our daily saddhana(or spiritual practice). In this discussion we will address the following questions:
What is the I AM Presence?
What are the different elements of the I AM Presence chart?
What are some of the tools that I can use to connect more with my I AM Presence?
How do I anchor the experience?
Sai Maa has often said, "The the only major difference between you and me is awareness." She is consciously awake in that awareness of Truth and most of us are not. We are each an eternal Divine being that has surrounded itself with veils of limitation and contraction. These veils have made us unaware of the Truth of who we really are. The process of remembering is the process of becoming fully aware and consistently choosing the Highest. Working with the I AM Presence plays a vital role in this process. What is the I AM Presence? It is our individualized Presence of God, or the focus of the Godhead at our point in the universe. It is known as the Source by some. It was called "the Father" by Jesus. Sai Maa has often referred to it as the Supreme Self or the Paramatma. The top of the chart shows the I AM Presence that emanates white light in all directions, surrounded by seven spheres of light representing the seven rays. The I AM projects the three-fold Flame(Pink-Love, Gold-Wisdom and Blue-Power) down through the antakarana, or silver cord into the physical body. In the middle of the chart is the Christ Self, Higher Self, guardian angel, or "only begotten son of God" (not shown on this chart). This is the step-down transformer that regulates the amount of energy, or prana that flows through the antakarana down into the physical body. It is the vehicle through which the I AM operates in the physical realm. The bottom of the chart shows the physical body surrounded by the pillar of Light and the violet flame. Note that the antakarana that extends down from the I AM is anchored in the heart and the brain of the physical body. The pillar of Light is a tube of pure light substance that protects the physical and subtle bodies by insullating them from the vibratory action of the physical plane. This pillar extends from the I AM to down below the feet. The violet flame is the flame of transmutation, divine love, mercy and compassion. It is like an eraser that doesn't just repress karma by making it inactive, but actually changes the vibratory action, making the discord or wrong qualities non-existent. Through the use of this Divine alchemy we can begin to balance our account to life. We can cleanse our karma, while still in the physical body, transmuting the discordant energy of this lifetime and all previous ones. The violet flame uses the activity of Divine love to consume or transmute all that no longer serves us. Now, what are some of the tools that we can use to connect more with the I AM Presence? The most important overriding principle when working with the I AM is practice . If we don't regularly practice with the tools that Sai Maa has given us, then it will be very difficult to make any progress along the path towards being "fully awake" in the I AM. Some of these tools are the following:
Intention - using the power of our intent to energetically transform ourselves
Attention - using our focused awareness we can expand the connection with our I AM
Visualization - using the power of our imagination to create something better, something higher for ourselves
Affirmation - stating what we choose with consistent focus, knowing that we have already received it
Command - using the power of our internal Mastery to manifest what we choose
Brain Illumination - using our breath to open, activate, and expand our subtle body structure and consciousness
Sound Vibration - using sacred sound as a vehicle for elevating our spiritual vibration
Surrender - being willing to release that which is limited and open to receive that which is not
