Serving Humanity
Her Holiness Sai Maa Lakshmi Devi and Humanity In Unity
In support of our Mastery and the global humanitarian work of H.H. Sai Maa Lakshmi Devi, Humanity In Unity (HIU) has been established as a 501-(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization who's vision is the union of humanity consciously awakened as Divine Love in action.
Humanity In Unity (HIU) sponsors Workshops and Training in the USA and around the world so we may personally experience the presence and teachings of this living Master. Sai Maa and HIU also participate in projects which serve humanity throughout the world.
Humanity In Unity's recent projects include Hurricane Relief (in conjunction with Airline Ambassadors), where we raised over $16,000, which was leveraged into over $1 Million of relief to those affected by Hurricane Katrina.
In the past, we have also worked internationally contributing to the revitalization of Bet Lar, a village in the foothills of the Himalayas, establishing medical aid to the people of the surrounding villages, and providing water and food to communities in India lacking in water supply.
In the USA, HIU has sponsored the creation of a labyrinth inside the Indiana Womens Prison (View picutres of Sai Maa at the Prison ). Many HIU volunteers also be served at the Indiana Womens Prison Summer Camp this July. Our local centers also engage in projects such as our San Francisco Center collecting winter clothing and packed lunches for a local homeless shelter for youth.
In Europe, financial contributions go to children who are victims of war produced landmines and to a charity that supports youth in Africa, Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru, including children in several orphanages.
In the USA, Sai Maa and HIU have initiated projects that bring food to the homeless, education to imprisoned women and their children, and support for those living with HIV/AIDS.
