Her Holiness Sai Maa and His Holiness Shri Satuwa Baba Arrive in Vail

Dear Friends,
The week 0f Healing and Empowerment in Vail with H H Sai Maa and Sri Satuwa Baba Maharaj - A Profound Journey in the Milky Way Within Us - has just concluded. Thirty-two Australians from all around the country participated. The Australians played a part in the welcome for Maharaji, and joyfully offered seva during this extraordinary week. During the retreat, we worked with the energy of the stars, and experienced being up all night long with Sai Maa for a Shiva Night, invoking the power and grace of Shiva within us. We look forward to sharing participants' experiences in the next newsletter.
Today, I received a lovely email about the experience of someone who was not physically present at the retreat. She said:
"On the day before the retreat in Vail was to start, I took everything away from the far corner of my desk where there are two walls which meet. For me, the meeting of the walls signified the bringing together of all of you in Vail and me here at home. There I created a beautiful altar, on two levels, covered with purple, gold and orange cloths.
Each morning, I awoke at 5.00am and ritually showered and had an early cup of tea and then "went down into the hall" - that is I sat in front of my altar and did my morning meditation and chanting. I sat for a little afterwards and played a CD of Maa's which I chose at random. Of course each morning, the teaching was absolutely perfect. Maa was so present for me all the time. The little miracles which happened each day were simply divine and I felt so connected. I deeply understand that I don't have to be in Maa's physical presence to feel Her shakti and to benefit from Her love and devotion to me."
