Since we are predominantly a volunteer organization, all seva offeres tremendous support to Humanity In Unity, a humanitarian, non-for-profit organization.
Seva Opportunities during Events
Her Holiness Sai Maa speaks of the grace of participating in seva during intensives, empowerments and retreats. Sai Maa encourages everyone to do seva as an integral part of their retreat experience. Seva is our opportunity to help co-created the event and serve other beings taking the course. Many people find it is a wonderful way to practice how to move as Shakti or spiritual energy while engaged in external activities such as registering people for the event, helping out in the gift shop, running a quick errand to pick up a needed supply, etc.

Ongoing National Humanity In Unity Seva Opportunities
Seva is a fantastic way to form lasting, supportive friendships with many unique and interesting people that share similar values.
We have a variety of seva positions that are done outside of events. Most of these are not location-specific and can either be done in your local HIU Center or from home. Below are just a list of the many seva opportunities available.

Audio / Video Seva
This person or persons helps in the creation of new videos and CDs of Sai Maa by selecting and then creating/editing Audio-visual material in the production of new Tools for Transformation for our HIU Gift Shop.
Audio / Video Library Coordinator
This person or persons will assist in the logging of past videos of Sai Maa's intensives and/or project-manage those that are doing this logging. This logging is the first step to creating new CDs and videos of Sai Maa.
Grant Writing Seva
This person or persons would research and write grants for Humanity In Unity, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Click on the link for complete information.
Legal
HIU has a variety of special projects that come up from time to time on which we like to consult lawyers. We do have one lawyer on our Board of Directors; however, he has been getting all of our legal requests and we would like to have other lawyers to consult. Expertise in copyright law and contracts would be especially helpful.
Photography
These beings need to have some experience photographing events or portraits, have digital equipment, have adequate memory cards and a willingness to donate their time and images to Humanity In Unity, Inc.
